I absolutely love the melancholy feelings of satisfaction and loss after finishing a book.
I am now a sucker for eBooks now for its convenience but I also like having a bookstall full of books.
Here are some bookstand I found that I think is sooo cool.

Inspiration
I used to call my self a bookworm but with exams coming up and my job is keeping me extra busy that I haven't had the time to read in a long, long time.
The extent of my neglect to my books are heart-breaking but you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
But now worries, I have my summer planned so that I do absolutely nothing but read. My plain is to start with the last book of the inheritance series - I had it since Christmas but I haven't had the chance to enjoy it even though I was waiting for the release of this final book for over 7 years now.
My exam is in less than 5 weeks time and in a couple of months, I will be free of psychology homework.
Until then, I better get working on it...

Warner Bro. Studio -London
My film studies class and I went to the newly opened Warner Bro. Studio - London,
other wise known as the Harry Potter Studio today.
They say London but it is actually near Watford and Hemel.
Here are some of the amazing things I looked at today.
The entrance
Harry's room "The Cupboard Under the Stairs"
Daniel Radcliffe's hand prints
The Knight Bus
The Dungeon and Professor Snape
The entrance to the chamber of secret
Muggles "in their rightful place"
Butter Beer!!!
It was cold.... which was unexpected
Hogwarts
It is a little pricy but if you are a Harry Potter fan, you have got to go!!!

Not Your Cup of Tea?
Tea.
First cup of tea in the morning.
A cup of tea in a travel mug.
A cup of tea to go with your work.
A cup of tea to take a break.
A cup of tea at the end of a hard day.
A cup of tea with friends and family.
I love it all.
But something that is not quite my "cup of tea"
Yes. It's a Toilet Mug.
I don't know who would want to drink out of this.
Or eat out of this.
No matter what you can use it for, I don't think it will be on my "wish list" any time soon.
But at least it made me laugh.

Children of Lesser God
"Children of Lesser God" A 1986 film about a speech therapist and a deaf (I know, it's hard of hearing today but this was in the 80s so give me a break!!" girl and their relationship.
I've been watching "Switched at Birth", an ABC Family TV series about two girls who's life were "Switched at Birth" and Marlee Martin is on this show. As Marlee was in a movie that really changed my life called "What the *&%$#* Do We Know?" I always liked her but it wasn't until I started following her on Twitter (@MarleeMatlin) that I found that she was an oscar winning Actress.
I enjoyed watching the film. I somehow can relate to the story about hard of hearing people. I don't know, it could be because I also have a disability that puts me in a wheelchair or it could be because I understand how it feels to have people not understanding what you are trying to say because of the language barrier. But I was really impressed by the film and to think that it was over 25 years ago, the film is brilliant!! When cheesy lines are told through sign language, it somehow doesn't make me want to vomit...
I can highly recommend this.

Hard Candy (2005)
I decided to watch "Hard Candy" because of its leading actress, Ellen Page, from Juno.
I still haven't decided whether I liked it or not but I can say it was truly disturbing!! The story is about a 14 -year-old girl (Page) who meets a charming 34-year-old in a chat room and she thinks that the man she is talking to is a pedophile and a murderer so she decides that it is her job to teach this guy a lesson in a cruel and unusual ways. Page's character was just so unrealistically mature for her age and the story doesn't really explain why she is the way she is, psychotic and bitter. It seems unlikely that any 14-year-old is capable or will want to do what she did in the film and... I guess I have decided, I didn't really love the film.
Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson's performances were better than the movie it self but if we take the two out of equation, the movie isn't worth watching.
Oh, but I enjoyed seeing Sandra Oh's brief appearance.

Reality Thriller - Catfish
I watched "Catfish" with my film club yesterday and what I want to say about it is WOW!!!
This fast-pased documentary about a film-maker's borther, Nev and his relationship with a family he met on Facebook was unlike anything I have ever seen. It was like our social networking nightmare coming to life.
The second half of the film brought up so many different emotions that was sometimes painful and always real. I am amazed by the filmmakers, Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, for their talent in managing to put together a film about crazy and insane course of events in such a way that wasn't cruel or offensive to anyone.
I have to admit, it did made me think of deleting Facebook for a second while watching this film. Thank God, I am too addicted to it to let it go.
Watch this film, even if documentary is not really your thing. I am pretty sure anyone with Facebook or any kind of social networking sites will enjoy, if not watch it for Nev Schulman. He is cute.
Here is a quote from the film that I just loved.
“They used to tank cod from Alaska all the way to China. They’d keep them in vats in the ship. By the time the codfish reached China the flesh was mush and tasteless. So this guy came up with this idea that if you put these cods in these big vats, put some catfish in with them. And the catfish would keep the cod agile. And there are those people who are catfish in life. And they keep you on your toes, they keep you guessin’ they keep you thinkin’ they keep you fresh. And I thank god for the catfish, because we would be dull and boring if we didn’t have somebody nipping at our fin.”

Only in Japan
Thought I would share this mad book that is available in Japan.
It is "Handsome Monk Picture Book". Yes, you read it right. This book contains 40 Buddhist Monk that are considered "beautiful" in a hope to encourage people to visit temples. I thought it was ridiculous but part of me wants to take a look inside. If the cover photos are any indication, I am thinking that I won't be very impressed. Sigh. Only in Japan.
